Chalk on Blackboard

Another chalk lettering piece. This one was pretty straightforward, but still took about 6 hours to finish.

I got the book from the Typism conference about two weeks ago, which I would recommend to everyone ever. There were a few old-fashioned lettering pieces, including this gorgeous one by Bobby Haiqalsyah, which I admittedly slightly copied. The whole book is just full of great inspiration.

I was working on another quote about a week ago, when I tried to erase a tiny stroke with the hand towel I use. It dropped and ended up smudging half the chalk of the piece, basically ruining it, when I'd almost finished. I didn't really feel like starting it all over again, so I did that one instead.
